Hong Kong, Most Beautiful Skyline in the World
On my trips to Asia I often pass Hong Kong.
It’s an international gateway for visitors from Europe who are going to South East Asia. More than once have I flown into this city on my way to Manila. Flights to Hong Kong
are priced competitive, andthe city is an amazing hub to continue your journey into the Asian realm.
But when you do get to Hong Kong, don’t make it a short layover, stay longer! Whenever I’m here I can walk around for days, getting a sore neck from looking up in the air. Because the sky is the limit and Hong Kong takes that seriously.
- The Peak Tram takes you up to Hong Kong’s most astounding viewpoint
If you are a skyline junkie like me, go to The Peak with the historical Peak Tram. It offers you an astounding view of this city, which in my eyes holds the title as most beautiful skyline in the world. I will be traveling to New York City soon, but I doubt that this city can compete with the Far East Port of Hong Kong. The tram is an amazing historical journey too. It’s open since 1926 and one of the steepest trams in the world.

Another great view of the Hong Kong skyline can be seen from one of the many ferries, my favorite being the Star Ferry. Unfortunately when I was there, my view was obstructed with fog, so make sure you go on a clear day. Another great tip is to take the ferry in the evening, when it’s dark. The skyline will look even more amazing!

What are your experiences with Hong Kong? What do you think of its skyline? I was there in 2010, but I can imagine that by now, the skyline looks even more amazing! Or do you totally disagree and find another city’s skyline more amazing?
